Lewa Receives Certificate for Workplace Safety and Health Protection

The certification was awarded in the presence of Andreas Becker (VBG), Sven Roser, and Werner Bartole (Lewa) on June 26, 2014, in Leonberg. The certification confirms that Lewa GmbH, in addition to meeting legal requirements, has also implemented internal rules at all levels governing the responsibility, training, and maintenance of tested, monitored equipment. The focus of this process was the performance of risk assessments in all departments to determine technical and operational measures for good workplace safety and health protection. To continue to develop and improve the system, management first defined objectives to be tracked and monitored, while at the same time audits were carried out to discover potential areas of improvement.

The increased integration of workplace safety into corporate policy and its systematic consideration in individual work processes minimize safety risks for employees while increasing productivity. The next goal of Lewa GmbH is to obtain certification in the areas of the environment and energy.
