ITT Flygt receives prestigious prize for branding.

ITT Flygt one of the world’s leading manufacturers of submersible pumps, mixers and aeration systems, has been awarded this years Signum prize, for the design and uniform use of the ITT Flygt brand.

The Signum prize is organised by Sweden’s oldest patent bureau, Goth & Co and Enderborg Law & Research. It is awarded annually for promotion and administration of a brand within the Nordic region. The jury panel consists of representatives from business and university, and lawyers within the patent and trademark industry.

This year 37 companies were competing for the prize including Ericsson, Nokia Mobile Phones and Hennes & Mauritz. ITT Flygt were referred to as outstanding among the other companies, by the jury, for the well designed and thought out graphic profile and uniform worldwide web identity.

Commenting on the award Monica Spendilow, head of ITT Flygt’s Market Communications Department, said, “it feels very rewarding to accept this prize. Over the last two years we have concentrated on our company brand and identity, for all printed publications, advertisements, trade fairs, web pages, and all other forms of marketing. This prize is a recognition of the hard work we have put in.”

Previous winners of the Signum prize include Aga, Bang & Olufsen, Carlsberg and Volvo, among others.
