Members of the industry will come together on October 2–5 at the 14th ISK-SODEX 2019 at TÜYAP in Istanbul, also known as the International Exhibition for HVAC&R, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Fire Prevention, Water Treatment and Insulation. The exhibition will bring purchasing committees, notably from the European Union, as well as Africa and South America, with Turkish manufacturers to form new partnerships.

The air conditioning industry, which includes air conditioning systems, ventilation, insulation components, fittings and equipment, and cooling equipment, is looking to expand to new markets in order to meet its $5.5 billion export target by 2019. ISK-SODEX will be held at the TÜYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul on October 2–5, 2019, and will continue to create new opportunities for the air conditioning industry.

ISK-SODEX 2019 is co-organized by the Hannover Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık, which is the subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG, one of the leading exhibition organizers in the world; the Air-Conditioning Research and Education Foundation (ISKAV); the Association of Natural Gas Appliances Industrialists and Businessmen (DOSIDER); the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association (ISKID); the Association of Thermal, Sound Insulation and Water Proofing Materials Suppliers and Producers (IZODER); the Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers (TTMD); the Turkish Pump and Valve Manufacturers’ Association (POMSAD); the Association of Refrigeration Industry and Businessmen (SOSIAD); the Aegean Refrigeration Manufacturers and Businessmen Association (ESSIAD); the Mechanical Contractors’ Association (MTMD); and the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Manufacturers’ Association (KBSB).

The exhibition will welcome guests from many countries, including Germany, China, France, India, the Netherlands, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Pakistan, Spain, Iran, Russia, Greece, the United States of America, Egypt, Taiwan and Japan.

HVAC&R buyers from all over the world will attend the ISK-SODEX Exhibition Bilateral Negotiations as part of the Purchasing Committee. The Bilateral Negotiations of the ISK-SODEX, which is supported by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and the Turkish HVAC&R Exporters Association (ISIB), will be held in the Area B2B of Hall 13 on October 2–3.

Noting that the Turkish air conditioning industry has achieved a considerable competitive advantage in foreign markets, Hannover Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık General Manager Alexander Kühnel stated that investors were much more willing to invest in Turkey, saying: “The air conditioning industry is a significant exporting industry of Turkey and continues to set new growth records each year. Our focus on R&D-intensive high-tech products in recent years have given us a competitive edge, particularly in foreign markets, which is also noticed by foreign investors. The number of investors willing to cooperate with the leading manufacturers of the Turkish air conditioning industry is rising rapidly. To capitalize on this growing interest, we are working to increase the trade volume in markets that offer a higher export volume for the air conditioning industry as well as new markets with a low export volume. This is part of our activities for the ISK-SODEX, which we are undertaking alongside industry representatives. It is very important for the ISK-SODEX, a leading brand in its field in Turkey and Eurasia, to realize its potential and unite the industry with the target markets.”
