Ingalill Östman Appointed Senior Vice President SKF Group Communication

Ingalill Östman has been appointed Senior Vice President, Group Communication. She will take up her position on January 1, 2008 and replaces Lars G Malmer who will retire.

She will also as from the same date become member of the SKF Group Management.

Ingalill Östman joins SKF from ABB where she is Senior Vice President Communication ABB Sweden and Region Communications Head for Northern Europe. She has previously held a number of managerial positions within ABB as well as management consultant outside ABB.

Ingalill Östman, 51 years, has a M.SC. in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology.

Change in the Executive Board of the Wilo Group

Weyers, who can look back on a long and successful career at Wilo, is leaving the company at his own request to pursue new professional challenges. He will be succeeded by Dr Patrick Niehr (50), who previously served on the Executive Board as Chief Change Officer (CCO).

Company Founder Ayhan Busch Celebrates Her 90th Birthday

Ayhan Busch, co-founder and co-owner of the Busch Group, was celebrating her 90th birthday on June 8. She is still active in the company, travels to manager meetings and welcomes guests, such as the Governor of the US state of Virginia recently. Just yesterday, she inaugurated the new “Central Park” on the grounds of the Busch headquarters in Maulburg, Germany.
