HOMA Receives Sustainability Award

Last year, the Wilo Group submitted its targets for decreasing their CO2 emission to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The short- and long-range emission reduction targets have now been confirmed by the initiative.

The Wilo Group continued to grow profitably and sustainably in 2023. Despite a challenging market environment, the multinational technology group achieved record net sales of around EUR 2 billion in the 2023 financial year. This corresponds to a currency-adjusted increase of 10.4 per cent compared to the previous year.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Federal Republic of Germany visited the Wilopark. Once on site, HE Zohour Alaoui discussed the role of the Moroccan market for Wilo as well as water supply projects in Sebou and Tangier with the President & CEO of the Wilo Group, Oliver Hermes, among other things.

ABB recently published its Integrated Report, which is the company’s primary report at Group level. The report integrates the most important material information about the company’s strategy, business, governance as well as its financial and sustainability performance.

GF has secured an “A” score, the highest possible, by the global rating agency CDP for transparency and performance on climate change, after the company was awarded an “A-” for three consecutive years. For its ambitions around water security, GF has maintained its previous rating of “A-”.

The Wilo Group has been recognised as a successful practical example in the international comparative study “Managing Sustainable Innovations”. For the study, the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen and the Complexity Management Academy analysed the sustainable innovation management of over 140 companies.
