HOMA is aware of its responsibility towards the environment and society. That is why HOMA is proud to have been awarded the bronze sustainability medal by EcoVadis, placing them among in the top 26% of companies assessed in the general engineering sector.

Environmental, labor and human rights measures were highlighted as energy savings were achieved and renewable energy was generated to reduce environmental impact. In addition, training and initiatives were introduced to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and to underline the commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The EcoVadis award is an important achievement for HOMA as it recognizes their sustainability and social responsibility efforts. EcoVadis is an independent assessment platform that rates companies in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainability. The assessment methodology is based on internationally recognized standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. An EcoVadis award demonstrates that a company is successful in these areas and is helping to create a more sustainable and just world.
