HMS Group Produces Unique Pump for Uralchem

Apollo Goessnitz GmbH (Germany), a subsidiary of HMS Group, manufactured and delivered bespoke BB5 pumping unit to one of Uralchem Group subsidiaries- Azot branch (Berezniki, Perm region).

Horizontal 12-stage barel pump with back-to-back design is used for carbamate transfer. The pump is designed for a maximum discharge pressure of 242 bar at 130°C with 150 м3 per hour. The pump manufactured according API 610 is equipped with pressurized API 682 plan 53B seal systems. Special heating jacket is installed to secure the temperature of handled medium and its viscosity.

Apollo Goessnitz GmbH manufactures high-tech API 610 pumps, standard DIN pumps and pumping systems for upstream, midstream, petrochemical processing, and thermal power generation.
