Grundfos Thailand Appoints New General Manager

Pump manufacturer Grundfos has announced the appointment of Kenth Hvid Nielsen to the role of General Manager of Grundfos Thailand (GTH), with effect from 1st November 2019.

In his new role, Kenth will lead the overall sales operation within the Thailand market for the key business areas: Industry, Commercial Business Services, Domestic Business Services, Business Development and Aftermarket Service Sales.

Kenth’s appointment to head the Thailand office was preceded by his 23 years of experience with the company. Having joined Grundfos in 1996, he has since held various senior positions within the Grundfos Group. Kenth has notably driven key product development initiatives within the company’s Water & Wastewater offerings, built up Grundfos’ global product line management, as well as headed Grundfos’ Water Utility segment globally. Prior to his appointment, Kenth served as Regional Director for Water Utility in Western Europe (WEREG).

Kenth commented: “I am very excited to be heading Grundfos’ Thailand operations. Kenth holds an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aarhus University and an Executive MBA from Aalborg University.
