The pump experts at FLUX-GERÄTE GmbH have developed the compact MINIFLUX Sanitary container pump in a hygienic design made from stainless steel (V4A). This is simply connected to the container outlet spout using a 2“ clamp or an S60x6 connection adapter (Image 1). The dry-installed, low-dead space pump only has minimal contact with the fluid and can be dismantled without tools in 20 seconds for easy cleaning (Image 2). It has no greased seals – so there is no risk of grease getting into the medium. It has a pump capacity of up to 240 l/min., depending on the medium and drive motor used, and can pump media with a viscosity of up to 1000 mPas, even against closed valves or taps. The compact pump weighs just 1.8 kg and has an overall length of 199.5 mm. It can pump fluids up to 100 °C. The pump is suitable for continuous operation and limited dry running and meets FDA standards.
Free motor selection
A union nut connects the appropriate motor to the bearing flange. The drive motor is selected to suit the medium and the environment, e.g. as a commutator motor, brushless or a compressed air version. FKM or EPDM seals and an ETFE rotor ensure the sealing and pumping of more aggressive fluids. The 1 1/2-inch clamp pressure connector is compatible with standard pipe and hose lines. IBCs can be emptied to a residual volume of 1%, depending on the angle of inclination. The pumping pressure varies according to the motor version and can be up to 13 metres of water column.
