Europump, the European Association of Pump Manufacturers, is looking forward to its upcoming Annual Meeting and General Assembly, set to take place in Prague from 21st – 23rd May. The event promises to be a key gathering for industry professionals, bringing together leading experts, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the pump sector.

This year’s meeting will feature a series of insightful keynote presentations from distinguished speakers:

“Aluminium: From the Green Deal to the Clean Industrial Deal” by George Karkampasis, Director Circular Economy & Raw Materials, European Aluminium Association.

“North American Market & Policy Update - What’s Next Under Trump 2.0?” by Michael Michaud, Executive Director, Hydraulic Institute.

“World Pumps Report 2025 – Statistical Update on Market Developments” by Kiran Ahmed, Lead Economist, Global Industry Services, Oxford Economics.

“Program of New Nuclear Power Units in the Czech Republic” by Mr. Milan Krivda, Head of Nuclear Department, Nuclear Research Institute Rez plc

There will also be a technical presentation given by WEG, specialized in motor, drive, and asset management systems technology, as part of its headline sponsorship of the event.

In addition to these thought-provoking keynotes, the event will also feature three parallel working sessions, scheduled for Wednesday, 21st May, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. These sessions, designed to foster in-depth discussions and collaboration, include:

Pump Knowledge Workshop – A forum for collecting and sharing pump-related guidebooks, whitepapers, and industry knowledge.

CE Marking Working Session – A dedicated session addressing CE marking regulations and their implications.
