Engineered for demanding wastewater applications, LINUS HYNA addresses one of the industry's most persistent challenges: pump clogging caused by rags, fibrous materials, plastics and difficult solids. At the heart of LINUS HYNA is the proprietary German-engineered Tri-Action System, designed around a simple but powerful three-stage process: pull, shear, shred.
The system is designed to efficiently pull debris into the cutting chamber, shear-cut tough and fibrous materials, and then grind-shred solids into finer particles before they enter the hydraulic section. This approach is designed to help maintain continuous flow, reduce the risk of clogging and minimize maintenance interruptions in challenging wastewater environments.
LINUS HYNA takes its name and design inspiration from the hyena, renowned for its powerful bite force of 1,100+ PSI and ability to break down tough materials. The concept is reflected in the pump's robust construction and high-performance cutting and grinding technology, engineered to tackle the difficult solids and fibrous debris commonly encountered in sewage applications.
Designed for buildings, sewage networks, sewage treatment plants (STPs), effluent treatment plants (ETPs), industrial wastewater, pumping stations and other debris-laden applications, LINUS HYNA is engineered to improve pumping reliability and reduce the operational impact of blocked pumps.
"With LINUS HYNA, we are addressing one of the most persistent pain points in sewage pumping, clogging due to debris and fibrous matter," said Kanishka Arumugam, Co-CEO of EKKI Group. "The Tri-Action System is designed to pull, shear and shred difficult solids, helping customers achieve more reliable operations and reduce service interruptions."
