Ebara Held Seminars on Flood Control Pumps in Thailand

Ebara Corporation, whose presence in Southeast Asia continues to grow, organized seminars on Flood Control Pumps in Thailand. This was the 24th time Ebara held seminars in cooperation with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). This seminar attracted 48 participants: civil engineers and university personnel from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.

During the seminar, videos and case studies were used enhance lectures on total flood control planning, pump station sites and pump maintenance.

Ebara has continued to create ties with Southeast Asian countries through technical guidance and other forms of international cooperation. Since the launch of the Ebara Hatakeyama Memorial Fund in 1989, it has organized close to 240 seminars within Southeast Asia, welcoming upward of 10,000 participants. Within this fiscal year, Ebara is set to give seven seminars in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and other locations.

Ebara will not only provide pumps, and other products and services, but engage in engineering seminars and other international cooperation activities in an effort to assist in the development of Southeast Asia.
