Division of the Hayward Tyler Group Announces Malaysian Contract Win

Rotary Gear Pump manufacturer, Varley Pumps is pleased to announce that it has received a significant Malaysian order from Inovatif Erat Sdn Bhd for three Closed Drain Transfer Pumps for use on an off-shore oil & gas rig in the South China sea.

The rig has been designed by Aker Kvaerner and is being built by Sime Darby Engineering (SDE), Malaysia's leading multinational in heavy equipment, property, and energy & utilities industries. Located offshore between Malaysia and Vietnam, the rig – Bunga Orkid-A Central Processing Platform (BO-A CPP) – is part of the Bunga Orkid Development Project which operate by Talisman Malaysia Limited (TML). The order consists of two off-CDT Pumps delivering 5m3/hour at a pressure of 10 bar, and 1 CDT Pump delivering 31m3/hour at a pressure of 6 bar. All the three pumps are fabricated from super duplex stainless steel and are American Petroleum Institute approved.
