CHRIST Appoints New Management Board

The Supervisory Board of Christ Water Technology AG took the resolution today to change the Management Board with immediate effect.

On the top, CTO Malek Salamor, 42, will replace the retiring CEO, DDr. Karl Michael Millauer. Further, Member of the Supervisory Board, Serge Schmitt, 59, will enter the Management Board as new CTO. CFO Harald Wegscheider will remain in the Management Board.

Malek Salamor is US citizen and since July 2007 on the Management Board responsible for R&D, innovation and the division Ultrapure Water. He is an accomplished process engineer of water technology and holds a degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering of the University of California. He has been working with the CHRIST Group for more than 10 years in leading positions.

Serge Schmitt is French citizen and since 1976 active in the CHRIST Group. He holds a degree in chemistry (University Louis Pasteur, Strassbourg) and one of the globally most recognized experts in ultrapure water treatment.

Following a phase of dynamic expansion and globalisation as well as strategic focussing on four growth business units, the Supervisory Board is assigning the function of the CEO to a first rate water technology expert. Among its main tasks will be to further develop CHRIST on the basis of its wide technological background, the international positioning strictly focused on profitability and cash flow in independence.

Changes to the GF Board of Directors

Hubert Achermann, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of GF and Independent Lead Director is retiring from the Board of Directors on reaching the age limit. The Board of Directors of GF will propose Stefan Räbsamen as a new member to the Annual General Meeting on 17 April 2024.
