Chicles Now Vice President of ITT

ITT Industries announced the appointment of Aris C. Chicles to the position of Vice President of the Corporation and Director of Strategy and Corporate Development.

In this position Mr. Chicles will be responsible for leading ITT's strategic and portfolio planning, and will oversee the activities surrounding Corporate Development and acquisitions. Mr. Chicles will be a member of ITT's Executive Council and will report to ITT's Chief Financial Officer George Minnich.

Chicles joins ITT from American Standard, Inc. in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he was Vice President, Corporate Business Development, identifying, evaluating and executing corporate acquisitions and divestitures, and overseeing real estate assets for the corporation. Prior to that, Chicles had a 17-year career with Owens Corning in a series of progressively responsible positions, rising to Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy.

Chicles holds a BS in Business Administration from Miami University of Ohio, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
