BIO-UV Group, based in Lunel, France, was selected not only for the water treatment capability of its equipment but also for its capacity to support full project commissioning on site.

The pool, one of the most ambitious projects of its kind ever undertaken, will see some 14 million litres of freshwater treated by the BIO-UV system.

“The installation exemplifies BIO-UV Group’s ability to contribute to major engineering projects where water quality and safety are paramount,” said Simon Marshall, Deputy General Manager of BIO-UV Group and Managing Director of Triogen.

“The pool’s sheer scale demanded the highest standards in water purification and system resilience. Working closely with our partners, we have installed the most robust, environmentally safe disinfection system to the world’s deepest swimming pool.”

A second, equally impressive project has seen BIO-UV Group collaborate with one of the oldest companies in the United Arab Emirates specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of swimming pools and water features.

BIO-UV Group’s cutting-edge UV treatment system was selected to maintain water quality in a gravity-defying infinity pool perched atop one of Dubai’s most iconic towers.

The UV system was chosen for its proven ability to eliminate chloramines, a known irritant in treated pool water, and to improve air and water quality in enclosed or elevated pool environments. Installed in close collaboration, the solution underscores BIO-UV Group’s capacity to align with regional partners on highly complex, premium-grade projects.

Speaking about the dual project success, Marshall said: “Providing and commissioning water treatment solutions for such globally iconic installations is a source of immense pride for our teams. These projects speak to the strength of our technology, the trust placed in us by major partners, and our ability to operate seamlessly across the full spectrum of altitude and scale. From underground depths to rooftop vistas, our systems are designed to perform reliably, sustainably, and safely.”

With each installation, BIO-UV Group continues to expand its international footprint and deliver future-proof water treatment systems tailored to the evolving needs of aquatic architecture. As the U.A.E cements its status as a global hub for engineering firsts and luxury infrastructure, BIO-UV Group stands ready to support the vision with innovative, eco-efficient solutions.
