Ideal for achieving optimal operation in variable speed pumping systems, the Circuit Sentry valve balances the system by compensating for hydronic pressure differences. It consists of a ball-type shutoff valve, commissioning measuring ports, and a flow control cartridge that maintains the flow rate at a constant level.

The automatic flow rate cartridge ensures flow rate is maintained at a constant pressure, even under fluctuating pressure conditions, from as little as 2 PSID to 60 PSID, and maintaining the desired flow rate to +/-5%. The flow control cartridge also facilitates easy flushing of the piping upon commissioning of the system.

Benefits of the Circuit Sentry valve include reduction of time needed for adjustment of the system, an open channel flow control area, and elimination of pipe length requirements before and after the valve.

The Circuit Sentry valve is available in a variety of fixed end connections on valves from 1/2” to 3” in size, with either fixed or sweat fixed ends and a union end with sweat, female or male NPT. Integral and optional P/T-ports for needle system and/or drain are available. The new valve is not for use in potable water systems.

Bell & Gossett, a unit of ITT Industries, is a leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, hydronic specialties, heat exchangers, condensate handling equipment, and packaged systems for variable and constant speed pumping, heat transfer and pressure boosting.
