Atlas Copco has Acquired a German Distributor of Vacuum Equipment and Service Solutions

Atlas Copco has acquired Eugen Theis GmbH. The company is a distributor of vacuum equipment and service solutions that serves the German market.

Eugen Theis is based in Werther, Germany and has 4 employees.

“This acquisition will expand our presence in Germany with industrial vacuum products and services,” said Geert Follens, Business Area President Vacuum Technique. “Eugen Theis is a respected company with experience in consultancy and providing vacuum equipment sales and services, especially in the food industry.”

The purchase price is not material relative to Atlas Copco’s market capitalization and is not disclosed. The acquired business will become part of the Industrial Vacuum Division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area.
