Atlas Copco has Acquired a Compressed Air Distributor in Poland

Heide Pumpen GmbH, a German distributor and service provider of portable pumps, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Unipipe Solutions introduces the UnipipeEZ Aluminum Piping System, specifically designed for compressed air applications as well as oil, coolants, and water. This advanced system provides a durable, cost-effective solution that guarantees high air quality and leak-free performance, with a pressure rating of 232 PSI (15 BAR). The UnipipeEZ system is remarkably simple to install, requiring neither specialized tools nor skilled labor.

Innovative companies often have an interesting history. One tradition-conscious market leader is the German vacuum specialist Leybold. Founded by Ernst Leybold in Cologne in 1850, the company has achieved numerous pioneering milestones and product developments. Now, in 2025, the renowned manufacturer is celebrating its 175th anniversary.

The BBA Pumps branch in Poland recently supplied a BA80H D290 high head pump for the dewatering of a granite mine. Due to the height differences, a lot of pumping pressure is required to discharge the excess water.

Atlas Copco has announced Marco Gravina’s appointment as President of Portable Power and Flow Division in the Power Technique business area, effective from the 1st of January 2025.

ESA Service S.r.l, (“ESA Service”), a company designing and manufacturing leak detection and gas recovery systems, will become part of Atlas Copco Group.
