Atlas Copco has appointed Eva Klasén Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and member of Atlas Copco’s Group Management. Eva Klasén will assume her new role May 1st, 2022.

Since January 2021, Eva Klasén is Vice President, Deputy Chief Legal Officer at Atlas Copco AB. She joined Atlas Copco in 2000 as Assistant Corporate Counsel and has since then held several positions in the legal functions in both Sweden and China.

“Eva is a highly valued colleague with a solid legal background and experience”, says Mats Rahmström, President and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group. “She has been supporting several M&A projects, setting up the legal department in China and also being the General Counsel for EMEA, leading the team of lawyers in the area. I very much look forward to welcoming Eva to the team and to our future collaboration”.

Eva Klasén is a Swedish citizen, born 1975. She has a Master of Laws from Lund University, Sweden.

As announced on August 26, 2021, the current SVP, Chief Legal Officer, Håkan Osvald will retire. He remains in his current role until April 2022.
