Atlas Copco Announces Per Rehn as Vice President for Business Development Pumps

Atlas Copco has announced the appointment of Per Rehn as the Vice President for Business Development Pumps for the Portable Energy Division. This position was created to enable Atlas Copco to drive innovation and develop business opportunities within the pump industry.

“Along with compressors, generators and light towers, pumps is one of the pillars of our Portable Energy Division,” says Norbert Paprocki, President of Atlas Copco Portable Energy. “The creation of the Vice President role to focus exclusively on pumps, shows the value we attach to the segment and the opportunities we see for growth in this exciting sector.”

Per Rehn has almost two decades of international experience in several key roles at a global pump manufacturer. These roles include Regional Manager Emerging Markets, General Manager for North America, Global Marketing Manager and Managing Director. Per holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

“With Per’s knowledge and expertise in the pump business, we are convinced that we have the right team in place to offer and develop the best solutions for our customers’ dewatering requirements. The recent launch of the PAS diesel driven pumps is just one example of how we intend to lead the industry,” continues Paprocki. “We are looking forward to seeing Per’s successes continue in his new role.”
