Almatec has created its new E-Series Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm Plastic Pump line with improved energy efficiency and performance top-of-mind.

Almatec E-Series Pumps Offer Increased Energy Efficiency and Improved Performance

Almatec E-Series Pumps

Rigorous in-house and field testing of the E-Series pumps has led to the creation of a pump with more efficient flow patterns. These tests have shown that the E-Series is capable of producing a flow rate up to 28% higher when compared to legacy models, and consuming up to 15% less air. This results in increased pump efficiency, lower energy costs and improved overall performance.

The improved performance of the E-Series pumps make them ideal for applications found in the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, ceramics, power plants, refineries, water processing, paper processing, electronics and solar industries, to name a few. The E-Series’ housing is available in PE, PE conductive, PTFE and PTFE conductive while its diaphragms are available in EPDM or PTFE, while the ball valves are available in EPDM, PTFE or stainless steel while the cylinder valves are constructed of PTFE. The E-Series pumps are self-priming and provide gentle displacement of fluids. Their compact, solid design makes the E-Series easy to install while providing unattended operation with long service life. E-Series pumps are available in seven sizes, from the 15-lpm (4-gpm) E08 to the 800-lpm (210-gpm) E80.

The E-Series pumps are easy to start up and include an integrated muffler. Available options include a screw-on pulsation damper, draining system, barrier-chamber system, diaphragm monitor, stroke counting and flange connection.
