ABS Launches Submersible Sewage Pumps With Premium-Efficiency Motors

ABS

The new ABS EffeX range is a world first because the pumps are driven by a premium-efficiency motor, as well as incorporating other major innovative features. This unique and outstanding pump range meets the demand of wastewater treatment facilities for higher pump performance, and reduced energy consumption and environmental impact. The new pump range also perfectly matches anticipated forthcoming legislation in many countries regarding higher motor efficiency for submersible pumping.

Completely new concept

The new ABS EffeX range is not a modification to an existing design but a completely new concept in submersible wastewater pumping equipment. The new range pushes available technology to the limit. It focuses on delivering the utmost in reliable operation, including advanced designs with greater safety margins and blockage resistance free solids passage of at least 75 mm. As it incorporates the first premium-efficiency IE3 motor designed and tested in accordance with IEC 60034-30* together with optimised hydraulics, the new ABS EffeX range gives the best total efficiency available on the market today.

Additional major benefits

In addition to compliance with forthcoming motor legislation, the ABS EffeX range offers customers the major performance benefits of:

  • Long-term reliability
  • Greater energy saving
  • Excellent rag handling
  • Future-proof design
  • Sustainable in manufacturing and operation
