Successful UREA Technical Specialist Event
Chemac organized a specialist seminar on "fertilizer" in 2019 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. From April 15 to 19, 2019, participants from 4 countries as well as most of the major fertilizer factories in the United States met. Three Chemac suppliers, Mr. Gunter Stoehr, CEO of Uraca, Mr. Dirk Schmidt, Global Export Manager of Kempchen Gaskets, and Mr. Frank Bungartz, CEO of Bungartz Centrifugal Pumps, were introduced during this seminar and presented technical presentations for UREA/UAN experts.

The seminar served to learn more about high-pressure pumps, valves, sealing technology, other accessories and equipment for the safe, reliable and productive operation of plants. The design features of the Uraca pumps and the ease of use and maintenance of these pumps were discussed. Safety, troubleshooting, maintenance as well as the optimal equipment selection were further interesting topics.
Post-seminar activities included a tour of Alamo and a guided boat tour of the famous San Antonio Riverwalk with dinner at a traditional TexMex restaurant.
The professional audience was given a lot of information about their equipment and the opportunity to network directly with their suppliers. Chemac s customers said that this was one of the best-organized seminars they have attended and they look forward to the next UREA technical seminar. Chemac will continue this seminar series, date is still open.
