Andritz to Refurbish and Modernize the Shivasamudram Hydropower Plant

Statkraft Energi AS has selected international technology group ANDRITZ to refurbish key components of the Svartisen hydropower plant in Norway. This renewable energy project, with an order value in the lower double-digit million-euro range, is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the third quarter of 2025.

Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ a contract to replace the two pumped storage units at the Srinagarind hydropower plant with new, state-of-the-art units.

Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), Mozambique’s leading hydropower generation company, has awarded ANDRITZ a contract for the rehabilitation of the Cahora Bassa hydropower plant. It is the largest hydropower plant in Mozambique and one of the largest in Africa.

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), India’s largest renewable energy company, to equip the new Tarali pumped storage plant in the Satara district of Maharashtra, India.
