2015 Chem Show Offers New Seminar Program

25.09.2015

Attendees of this year’s Chem Show, to be held November 17 to 19 at the Javits Center in New York, will, for the first time in the show’s history, be provided with free admission to all seminars.

Adding to the value of attendance, the seminars will be led by industry experts speaking to the key and critical issues faced by today’s chemical processing market. Additionally, many of the presenters will link suggested strategies and solutions to the innovative products and services seen on this year’s Chem Show floor.

The 2015 Chem Show’s “best practices” seminars will highlight the industry’s latest and most relevant trends, including 3D printing/additive manufacturing, pollution control modifications for compliance, and loop calibration strategies for chemical plants. Other subjects to be addressed range from wastewater treatment and converting polymer formulations into flowable powders, to wireless and software simulation for pump efficiency and industry networking via social media.

“We’ve devoted significant energy to developing a wide variety of seminar topics that will be pertinent to our attendees – from plant managers, to engineers, to those just dipping a toe into the industry,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company, producer of the Show. “The Chemical Process Industries (CPI) arena is so vast. Within it, there is always something new to be learned, and we are proud to help spread knowledge of the many facets of this market.”

For 2015, Chem Show producers have also shortened seminar times to enable attendee participation in more sessions, while leaving ample time for the exhibition floor. Each day will feature a new set of seminar topics presented in 90-minute (or shorter) time blocks, along with 20-minute presentations of exhibitors’ latest products in the Product & Technology Showcase on the exhibit hall floor.

All Chem Show seminars and product presentations are offered free to attendees and do not require advance registration other than to the Show at-large and will be held each Show day.
