Tsurumi at IFAT 2026: Pumping Power Fully Connected

Particular interest was shown in the new CZ series of sewage pumps. The units are specially designed for media with a high solids and fibre content and feature an exceptionally powerful cutting mechanism. At the heart of the system is a combination of a specially shaped suction plate and a scissor mechanism, which reliably shreds problematic components such as textiles or wet wipes before they enter the hydraulic system. The aim is to ensure continuous, clog-free operation even under difficult conditions. The series is aimed in particular at municipal or commercial applications, as well as sewage treatment plants, where operational reliability and low maintenance requirements are crucial.
In addition, Tsurumi showcased further solutions for water and sewage technology, including the FSP series for removing floating debris from water surfaces. The range was complemented by numerous other pumps as well as Tsurumi’s virtually maintenance-free TRN submersible aerators for sewage treatment plants and industrial applications.
The “Tsurumi Connect” system took centre stage at the trade fair. This open network solution is designed for monitoring and controlling pumps and other electrical equipment. Unlike many proprietary systems, it is specifically designed for the integration of third-party products. The solution enables condition monitoring, alarm notification, data analysis and remote control via a cloud connection, and is intended to offer particular benefits to operators of established plant structures. Sensors and peripheral devices can be integrated, as can individual control processes.
With its combination of robust pump technology and digital networking with a Japanese flair, Tsurumi once again made a striking impression. Trade visitors appreciated the manufacturer’s practical approach and enjoyed a cold beer: served from a pump converted into a tap as a special highlight.
