Uniwater continues to build its position in the growing European market for water infrastructure. As part of the group's investment in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Erik Meurling has been recruited as Head of Expansion.
Uniwater Increases Focus on DACH Region – Erik Meurling New Head of Expansion

In the autumn of 2024, Uniwater made its first acquisition in the DACH region in the form of Nuremberg-based 4pipes. To further strengthen focus and presence in the region, Uniwater has now recruited Erik Meurling as Head of Expansion.

– Erik has a strong strategic understanding of complex markets and a documented ability to translate visions into concrete results. With his leadership and international profile, we strengthen our capacity to build long-term business in the DACH region, says Pål Warolin, CEO of Uniwater.

Erik has an international background in business development and commercial expansion, with experience from both public and private sectors. His most recent experience is from Anticimex in the US, where he led the company's growth in California as Vice President Commercial Sales. He previously held leading roles within Green Cargo with responsibility for expansion and strategic sales in Europe and within the Swedish Trade Council, where he worked as Country Manager and Trade Secretary in Belgium and Finland.

Uniwater Acquires Danish Company Kudsk

Uniwater, one of the Nordic region’s groups in water infrastructure, has acquired Kudsk, a Danish company that operates in hot tapping, line blocking and leak monitoring of water infrastructure and district heating. The acquisition strengthens Uniwater’s offering geographically in maintenance services with lower environmental impact.
