The Japanese colossus, which in 2023 closed the year with a consolidated turnover of almost 60 billion yen (about 360 million euros), acquires the entire share capital of the Modena-based company, marking the beginning of a new path for Zenit, a historic company operating in the wastewater treatment plant production sector, founded at the end of the 1950s and currently based in San Cesario sul Panaro, in the province of Modena, with a 2023 consolidated turnover of over 40 million euros.

This operation, included within a path that began in 2018 as a commercial partnership first, and a strategic agreement with capital participation later, will allow Zenit Group to continue to grow and bring the excellence of Made in Italy to the world.

The new corporate organization, while not changing the internal structure of the Modena-based group, will allow the company to continue investing in the research and development of innovative technologies, in the optimization and refurbishing of pre-existing structures, as well as in the implementation of new operational areas, etc.

From a commercial point of view, Zenit Group will continue to be present on strategic reference markets under its own brand name, maintaining its own brand identity and pursuing its own commercial and marketing strategy, defined in advance with the new Holding.

At the same time, the commercial power and technical know-how of Tsurumi Manufacturing co., LTD., which since 1924 has been synonymous with quality and excellence in the water treatment pump sector recognized worldwide, will allow the Modena-based company to take important steps forward in terms of managerial growth, technical progress and commercial development.

The agreement signed seals the beginning of a new chapter in the history of both companies, completing the strategy pursued by the two Groups in recent years: the implementation of a synergy that will enable the growth of both companies with a view to constant co-operation.
