Jarno Nymark (M.Sc. Eng.) has been appointed to the ANDRITZ AG Executive Board as of October 1, 2023, assuming responsibility for the Pulp & Paper Business Area.

Valmet’s Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Valmet’s President and CEO Pasi Laine and related terms and conditions. Pasi Laine will continue as the President and CEO of Valmet until the end of September 2024. The Board of Directors has initiated the search for a successor.

Stefan Isberg has been General Manager at WANGEN PUMPEN since 1 July 2023, and heads the corporate management team together with Erik Sparby and Lorenz von Haller. The 48-year old Swede is responsible for the Production Centre Division (PC), which includes the Production, Finance/Controlling, IT, HR, Product Development and Purchasing departments.

With deep sadness, GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft announces the sudden and unexpected death of Chief Financial Officer Marcus A. Ketter, who passed away on Sunday, August 6 at the age of only 55.

Pentair plc announced the appointment of Tracey Doi to its board of directors effective August 15, 2023. With her appointment to the Pentair plc board of directors, Ms. Doi will serve on the Company’s Audit and Finance Committee.

ITT Inc. announced the appointment of Fernando Roland as president of its Industrial Process (IP) business, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Luca Savi. Roland succeeds David Steblein, who retired earlier this year after more than 30 years with the company. IP, one of ITT’s three segments, is a global leader in centrifugal and twin-screw pumps for chemical, energy, mining and industrial markets.

At its recent AGM, the Association for Electrical and Mechanical Trades (AEMT) announced the appointment of James Stevens as its new honorary President, taking over the position from outgoing President, Central Group Director Shaun Sutton.

Franklin Electric announced that Donald Kenney, Vice President and President, Global Water, will be retiring after 25 years with the company. Kenney was a driving force behind the company’s Global Water growth and strategy over the last decade, and he will remain with the company through the end of July to ensure a smooth transition to his successor, Greg Levine.

Felix Kleinert, the CEO of the Waldkraiburg-based company NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme GmbH, is taking his well-deserved retirement at the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2023. After almost 25 years with the company, Kleinert is now handing over the scepter to Mr. Andreas Denker.

Petri Rasinmäki has been appointed Business Line President, Paper, at Valmet as of September 1, 2023. In his new position, Petri Rasinmäki will be a member of Valmet’s Executive Team reporting to President and CEO Pasi Laine. Jari Vähäpesola, the current Business Line President, Paper, has decided to retire after a long, successful career at Valmet as of December 1, 2023.
