The 2nd edition of the Stormwater & Wastewater Conference 2025 officially opened at the Jeddah Hilton, convening government officials, global technology innovators, and leading industry experts to drive the development of resilient and sustainable water infrastructure systems across the Kingdom in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Only 4 months left until AchemAsia 2025 as the leading platform for the Chinese process industry is back. From 14 to 16 October 2025, Shanghai will once again be the gateway to China’s Process Industry, driving the countries chemical industry towards decarbonisation and sustainable intermediate and end products. The call for papers for the conference is now open and for the first time applications for the AchemAsia Process Innovation Award are possible.

Water sector professionals need to use their expertise “to be the agents for change”. That was the message coming from a keynote delivered by Natalie Prosser, chief executive of the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP), at British Water’s 2025 Spring Reception.

DECHEMA and Messe Frankfurt have reached the necessary agreements and the event will be held for the first time in Riyadh in 2026, and then every three years after that. ACHEMA Middleast is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is against the backdrop of Saudi Vision 2030, the ambitious government programme for economic and social development.
