Effective November 1, 2025, Birgit Seeger will become CEO of NORMA Group. The Supervisory Board of NORMA Group today appointed her as the future Chair of the Management Board. As planned, the current interim CEO Mark Wilhelms will return to the Supervisory Board as of November 1.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their collaboration in advancing energy efficiency in commercial and industrial pumping systems. The MOU was officially executed on July 9, 2025, marking a significant step toward accelerating market adoption of high-efficiency pump technologies.

The Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer KSB continued the positive trend of the 2024 financial year in the first six months of 2025, despite facing challenging conditions. Order intake and sales revenue as well as earnings before finance income / expense and income tax (EBIT), adjusted for the costs of introducing SAP S/4HANA, were up on the comparative half of the previous year.

GF has signed an agreement to divest GF Casting Solutions’ automotive business to Nemak S.A.B. de C.V., a Mexico-based global leader in aluminum lightweighting solutions for the automotive industry. Closing is expected to take place in the second half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals. With this transaction, GF’s strategic transformation into a pure-play Flow Solutions company is near completion.

Armstrong Fluid Technologies has launched an industrial division that channels its full range of sustainable pumping solutions to a wide range of sectors from primary resources, food and textiles to consumer products, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and energy. The new division, Armstrong Industrial, combines two of the company’s business entities – Armstrong Gas Transmission Systems and RMI Pressure Systems.

Supply chain membership organisation British Water has appointed Stephen Slessor, chief executive of RSE, as chair, succeeding Dr Mark Fletcher, director and global water business lead at Arup. Slessor brings extensive sector experience, spanning 25 years in engineering, digital construction approaches and strategic leadership.

CRI-MAN was founded in 2000 and is located in Correggio, Italy. As part of the acquisition 85 employees will join Atlas Copco Group.

Jon Jested-Rask (M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration) has been appointed Executive Vice President, Tissue Business Area at Valmet, effective August 1, 2025. In this position he will report to the President and CEO Thomas Hinnerskov and is a member of Valmet’s Executive Leadership Team.

SIMFLO has announced its expansion into the Latin American market with the appointment of Leo Villanueva as Sales Manager for Latin America, Mining, and Oil & Gas. This newly established role is designed to strengthen SIMFLO’s presence and accelerate business growth in the Central and South American regions, while supporting the company’s broader international expansion strategy.

Sulzer’s new facilities will support essential industries in the region, such as oil and gas, pulp and paper, power generation and food and beverage. The expansion underlines Sulzer’s global strategy of establishing full-service, in-region capabilities to meet the needs of its industrial customers.
