Dr Thomas Buer will become the new managing director of Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis on 1 October 2024. He succeeds Dr Manfred Jagiella, who is retiring at the end of September after 17 years at the helm of the competence center for liquid analysis.

QED Environmental Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of innovative environmental products and subsidiary of Graco Inc., has appointed Mike Sebion as its new President. Mike makes the transition over to QED having spent almost 30 years with parent company Graco Inc., where he most recently served as Vice President of Global Industrial Engineering.

Xylem (XYL) is expanding its corporate venture investing plans with $50 million committed to support emerging companies and water services providers that solve critical climate challenges such as water scarcity, quality, and decarbonization. Mathias Weyers (53) has resigned from his position as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Wilo Group with effect from 30 June 2024. Weyers, who can look back on a long and successful career at Wilo, is leaving the company at his own request to pursue new professional challenges. He will be succeeded by Dr Patrick Niehr (50), who previously served on the Executive Board as Chief Change Officer (CCO).

The VDMA Valves Association and Messe Düsseldorf want to join forces in the future at the world’s leading trade fair for the valve industry, VALVE WORLD EXPO. VDMA Valves will be the conceptual sponsor of VALVE WORLD EXPO. The official signing of the cooperation agreement took place in Düsseldorf at the beginning of July.
