AxFlow France has taken a strategic step to greatly strengthen its service capacity with the acquisition of RDC Productions, a 43-person company operating in its own, modern facility west of Paris. The acquisition is in line with AxFlow’s strategy of growing by adding value-added service as a differentiator from its competition.

Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has agreed to acquire the assets of Hy-Performance Fluid Power Pty Ltd, an Australian service provider for mining and infrastructure.

Armstrong Fluid Technology announces that it has completed the acquisition of the Circulator Pump Business Unit of Halm Motors + Systems in Germany, a provider of high efficiency circulator pumps for heating, solar, geothermal and domestic hot water applications.

Sulzer announces that it has completed the acquisition of JWC Environmental, LLC (“JWC”). JWC is a leading provider of highly engineered, mission-critical solids reduction and removal products such as grinders, screens, and dissolved air flotation system for municipal, industrial and commercial wastewater applications.

AxFlow has entered the market in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania by acquiring Bahr Pump OU (Estonia), Pumptechnique SIA (Latvia) and Flow Technologies UAB (Lithuania).

GEA completed the acquisition of Vipoll, headquartered in Križevci pri Ljutomeru, Slovenia, which was signed in November 2017.

Ettlinger announced that they have been acquired by the Swiss Company Maag, a business unit of Dover Corporation.

Sulzer signed a binding agreement to acquire JWC Environmental, LLC (“JWC”). JWC is a leading provider of solids reduction and removal products such as grinders, screens, and dissolved air flotation system for municipal, industrial and commercial wastewater applications. The acquisition strengthens Sulzer’s wastewater treatment offering through complementary equipment and improves its access to the key US municipal wastewater treatment market. The enterprise value is USD 215 million (CHF 212 million).

Pfeiffer Vacuum signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lanzhou Institute of Physics (LIP) in Asslar, Germany. As one of the founders of the Chinese Vacuum Society, the Lanzhou Institute of Physics is a pioneer in vacuum technology in China.

Xylem announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all the issued and outstanding shares of Pure Technologies Ltd. (Pure) for CAD $9.00 per share in cash, representing an enterprise value of CAD$509 million, or USD$397 million. Pure’s Board of Directors has unanimously approved the transaction and recommends that Pure shareholders vote in favor of the transaction.
