Mann+Hummel announced it has finalized the acquisition of Hardy Filtration, a Canada-based air filtration company. This will expand the global footprint and manufacturing capabilities of Tri-Dim Filter Corporation´s business, which Mann+Hummel acquired in 2018.

Flowrox Oy, a leading manufacturer of industrial valves and pumps based in Lappeenranta, Finland, has acquired Polar-Automaatio Oy, a Finnish company specialising in the design, overall delivery and maintenance of industrial automation systems.

GF Piping Systems, a division of GF, announces the acquisition of Global Supply Co. Inc., Hallandale, Florida (USA), a specialized service provider to the marine industry. The acquisition will allow GF Piping Systems to expand its footprint in the promising US marine market.

nVent Electric has signed an agreement to acquire Eldon, a privately held European-based enclosures business, for a cash purchase price of approximately $130 million, subject to customary adjustment and including repayment of Eldon debt. The acquisition of Eldon and its highly complementary portfolio will position nVent well for global growth.

AxFlow Ireland has announced its acquisition of Irish Pumps & Valves Limited, a major supplier of valves, actuators, pumps and ancillary equipment to the wastewater, power generation and process industries.

AxFlow Holding AB’s latest acquisition is the Irish Induchem Group, the specialist provider of fluid handling solutions, which predominately focuses on valves, pipe solutions, mixers and pneumatics. Headquartered in Cork, the Induchem Group has four sites, located in Ireland and the UK; two service centres and two sales offices. The acquisition will see Induchem continuing to operate as a separate company under its brand.

Sulzer has extended its petrochemical process capability further with the purchase of the US-headquartered specialist, GTC Technology.

Sulzer has acquired the Scottish aero-derivative gas turbine service provider Alba Power, a leading independent service provider for aero-derivative gas turbines in Aberdeen, UK. The company employs 80 people and generated sales of GBP 34 million with a profit margin above 20 percent in 2018.
