ViscoTec America Dispensing Solutions – 10 Years Anniversary and new Office in San Diego

“An exciting event, happy employees and great memories” – this is the best way to describe the celebration of the 10th anniversary of ViscoTec America. On October 10, 2019 the event was duly celebrated with customers and business partners. Colleagues from the headquarter in Germany also found their way to Atlanta to visit the subsidiary founded in July 2009.

Growing expertise and experience allowed ViscoTec worldwide to successfully develop precision dispensing solutions for many specific markets such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, electronics, plastics, aerospace, automotive, medical technology and biotechnology. ViscoTec is recognized by many industry leaders as the premier dispensing solutions for complicated applications and has made a name for itself to be able to constantly discover new fields of business such as e-mobility and 3D printing. Few people know that, for example, half of all smartphones worldwide are produced with the help of ViscoTec dispensers and in the future many aircraft parts will be manufactured with ViscoTec technology.

Gerald Pfeiler, President of ViscoTec America, has not only developed the company magnificently over the last ten years but has built up a team of 20 employees, allowing the company to grow to the extent that it is now recognized in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. ViscoTec America is a highly committed team, which consists of several sales managers whose focus is to sell both ViscoTec and preeflow products throughout North America. And, ViscoTec America has ready and willing service technicians who are available to support the customer base. In addition, customers have the opportunity to optimize their strict dispensing requirements in a Test Lab: Whether it is an application with extremely thin or flat beads, or dispensing small dots in the microliter range, or even meter mixing of two components in small or large volumes – Viscotec America always supports its customers in finding the right solution for the respective dispensing application.

In addition to the sales office in Kennesaw (near Atlanta) Georgia, an office has now been opened in Downtown, San Diego California to support the customer base in the West Coast Region.

The new location is to expand the brand in the west coast region and to strategically position ViscoTec closer to the customer base. Having a local presence, it makes it to meet the customer’s expectations when it comes down to supporting demanding and challenging dispensing processes with the reliable progressive cavity pump technology. Whether the customer needs to dispense 1 or 2 component materials with very high precision of beads, dots, potting, filling of bubble free syringes and cartridges, ViscoTec America is ready to offer the right dispensing solutions to their customers. Responsible for the new location is Dan Sotelo: Dan Sotelo has been with ViscoTec America since 2016. He is responsible for growing and serving the customers in the Western region. Offering solutions from dispensing, emptying materials from a variety of containers, to treating the material such as degassing and agitation. In total he has been working in the fluid dispensing industry since 2007 – bringing solutions to manufacturing engineers to improve their fluid dispensing processes.
