VIETWATER 2008 – Water Industry in Hanoi

The Vietnamese trade show for the Water Industry, the "VIETWATER 2008 Expo & Forum - Vietnam’s Official Water & Wastewater Industry Show" in Hanoi, will be held from 18-20 November, 2008.

It is organized by "AMB Exhibitions Sdn Bhd" in cooperation with the "Vietnam Water Supply Association". MEREBO Messe Marketing based in Hamburg/Germany (known as the co organizer of Water China and AsiaWater), is in charge for the European and North American participants.

The fair will be held in association with the 1st VIETWATER Conference for Water- and Wastewater Management, organized by the "Southeast Asia Water Utilities Network". The show will take place on a gross space of 6,000 sqm in the new National Convention Centre of Hanoi.

MEREBO will organize the "Europe & North America Pavilion" dedicated to companies, associations, chambers and trade press of both continents.

Water and wastewater utilities are executing ambitious decarbonization goals, according to a new survey of 100 utilities in North America and Europe. Sponsored by Xylem, the survey finds that 75% of respondents intend to achieve greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals by 2040 or earlier. 48% of respondents have set a net-zero emissions goal, and 42% have set an emissions reduction goal.
