VALVE WORLD EXPO in Düsseldorf is already a leading global trade fair for valves and related products and plays an important role in the world of valves. According to a VDMA survey, 88 percent of the exhibiting member companies are satisfied or very satisfied with the trade fair.

"With this strategic collaboration, Messe Düsseldorf and VDMA Armaturen are pooling their expertise for the industrial valves industry," says Bernd Jablonowski, Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf. "With VDMA Valves as a strong industry association at our side, we want to take VALVE WORLD EXPO to the next level. Together, we are pursuing the goal of further expanding the trade fair as a central industry meeting point and the place to be for the global valve industry," says Jablonowski.

The close ties to the industry that the association will bring to the table should help to make the trade fair even more attractive for exhibitors and visitors from the entire process industry, their customer industries and the supply chain.

The German Valve Association will be actively involved in the development of ideas for the trade fair and will be involved in various projects. The current trend topics of sustainability, the circular economy, digitalisation and innovations for the valve industry are currently the focus of attention.

"As the representative of the valve industry to politics and the public, we will focus on the topics that are relevant to our members today and in the future at VALVE WORLD EXPO," emphasises Dr. Laura Dorfer, Managing Director of VDMA Valves. "I am convinced that our cooperation will not only strengthen the trade fair in the long term, but that we will also make a significant contribution to the future viability of the valve industry in Germany."

The VDMA Valves will also be present at the next VALVE WORLD EXPO, which will take place in Düsseldorf from 3 to 5 December 2024.
