Torishima Receives Order for 8 Boiler Recirculation Pumps

26.06.2015

Torishima received an order for quantity 8 Boiler Recirculation Pumps (CPW) for a combined cycle power plant in Djelfa, Algeria, from Nooter/Eriksen (N/E).

Torishima’s experience with our CPW in these particular services and commercial competitive edge led to the successful partnership with N/E for this project.

N/E is a single source supplier of custom designed heat recovery systems. They are headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA and are known as one of the world s leading independent suppliers of Natural Circulation Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) combined with gas turbines.

HRSGs are used to capture exhaust heat from the gas turbine that would otherwise escape through the exhaust stack of combustion gas turbines.

The HRSG creates steam from the gas turbine exhaust heat, delivering it to the steam turbine adding the additional energy to the generator shaft.

N/E has sold more than 800 HRSG units and their vast experience list consists of units across the globe, including installations in the USA, Canada, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

As Algeria’s economy continues to grow, so does the country’s energy demands. N/E’s HRSG and Torishima’s CPW pumps will contribute to satisfying those growing energy demands, thus supporting future economic growth.
