The debut show on MOTION, DRIVE & AUTOMATION ASIA 2002 (MDA ASIA 2002) incorporating FLUID POWER ASIA 2002 and POWER TRANSMISSION ASIA 2002 will be held as an extension of PSA 2002. This debut event will showcase the most comprehensive fluid power - hydraulics and pneumatics systems, electrical and mechanical power transmission, and internal combustion engines, to provide a more specialised platform for businesses in the industry to share their knowledge and technology.

NATIONAL/GROUP PAVILIONS

There will be 11 National/Group Pavilions at PSA 2002. Establish contacts with the 29 exhibitors in 2 Germany Pavilions, organised by Verband Deutscher Maschinen - und Anglagenbau (VDMA) and the 20 exhibitors under 2 UK Pavilions, organised by Engineering Industries Association. In addition, there will be a number of exhibitors participating under the umbrellas of the Pakistan, South Africa, Taiwan and USA Pavilions.

Furthermore, prestigious international trade organisations such as S.IN.IM from Italy and Taiwan Fluid Power Association (TFPA) will be hosting some of their members at their Pavillions.

Planetary-Scale Innovation Explored at BlueTech Forum

An applied research project in Scotland involving the use of earth observation science (EOS) in multiple water applications was just one of many highlights of  BlueTech Forum 2024 for Paul O’Callaghan, chief executive of BlueTech Research. The roundtable delivered by Professor Andrew Tyler, Scotland Hydro Nation Chair at the University of Stirling, and was one of 16 where delegates could tackle real-world challenges in creative ways. It was part of a rich two-day programme identifying ways water innovation is being put into action globally.

ACHEMA Opening: Strong Call for International Cooperation

At the ACHEMA Opening on 10 June 2024 German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Dr Robert Habeck, and thought leaders from the financial sector, the chemical industry and suppliers pointed out how the process industry is positioning itself within new global framework conditions. Their conclusion: The process industry is vital for the transformation of the economy and society as a whole and international cooperation is the order of the day to overcome the manifold challenges.
