MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Pentair, Inc. (NYSE: PNR) announced that its senior management described the growth of its Water Technologies segment to investment professionals attending the 11th Annual Gabelli Pump, Valve, and Motor Symposium today in New York, N.Y.

CFO, David D. Harrison; and President and COO of the Water Technologies

Segment, Richard J. Cathcart, attended the event to describe the strategies

driving the segment's performance. Since 1995, Pentair has expanded beyond

its original pump business to become a premier, diversified water equipment

company that delivered annual growth of 30 percent in sales and 50 percent in

profits from 1996 through 2000.
