New 8-Inch Sewage Pump Completes the KS Range of BBA Pumps

Instead of a sober industrial appearance, the Japanese company deliberately presented itself with cultural references to its own origins: consultants in kimonos, traditional design elements and Japanese specialities created an atmosphere that stood out clearly from the usual trade fair scene. However, the focus was on solutions for demanding tasks in dewatering and environmental technology.

At this year’s IFAT, Herborner Pumpen will showcase tailored solutions for a variety of requirements in sewage technology. At its booth, the company is focusing in particular on the new Centurio modular wastewater pump.

EKKI Water Technologies and Germany’s HOMA Pumpenfabrik GmbH, announced a step forward in their Indo-German collaboration with the launch of the LINUS Clog-Defense Sewage Pump Range, and the next phase of expansion of EKKI HOMA, their joint venture focused on sewage pumping solutions for India and emerging markets.

Pump manufacturer Tsurumi is using IFAT 2026 to strengthen its position in the sewage sector. One of the highlights is the CZ pump series, which has been so successful since its market launch at the last IFAT that it is now becoming the Japanese company’s flagship product.

Twenty years ago, BBA Pumps built the first pumps that would later form the BA series. What began as a promising innovation turned out to be the start of a new era for BBA Pumps. Since then the BA series has evolved into the industry standard for vacuum-assisted centrifugal pumps.

We are proud to unveil our new diesel driven BA200KS D388 mobile sewage pump. The new pump fulfills the ‘capacity gap’ between the existing BA180KS and BA300KS and completes the KS range. The KS screw channel impeller pumps are developed for handling raw sewage. This 8-inch pumpset delivers a capacity up to 900 m³/hour and has an impressive solids handling of 130 mm.
