Masterflex B/T Tubing Pumps

13.06.2002

Rugged dependability and high-volume pumping. Masterflex® B/T® (Batch/Transfer) tubing pumps give you both—and more!

Every B/T® tubing pump offers a powerful motor ideal for transfer of viscous or shear-sensitive materials. And, since fluid only contacts the tubing, clean-up is easy. These pumps are perfect for pharmaceutical, chemical, wastewater, and other high-volume pumping applications.

A complete B/T system, which comes with a motor and Rapid-Load pump head, is built for continuous-duty reliability, and and can be washed down after use.

The B/T Rapid-Load pump head is easy to set up, makes tubing changes simple, and offers the benefits of precise adjustable occlusion for longer tubing life. Simply load tubing, then turn knob located on the side of the pump head to adjust occlusion for optimum performance.

Increase occlusion to create high pressure, to prime the system, and to use in vacuum applications. Reduce occlusion for low-pressure applications and to extend tubing life—up to 2,000 hours or 3 months of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation!

B/T pump heads are designed with three rollers to decrease pulsation. This three-roller peristaltic action makes these pump heads ideal for shear-sensitive liquids. The liquid and pump are never in direct contact and fluids stay pure. For safety and visibility, the Rapid-Load pump heads feature a polycarbonate plate that shields the tubing and rollers.

A variety of B/T pump models are available for a wide array of applications. Choose from fixed or variable speed, analog or digital, hazardous duty or air powered, as well as wash-down. Pump heads accept four tubing sizes to deliver flow rates from 0.3 to 45 LPM (0.07 to 12 GPM) using variable-speed systems and 12.4 to 30 LPM (3.3 to 8 GPM) using fixed-speed systems.

B/T pumps come with an extra set of rollers. One roller set is designed especially for Masterflex® B/T® 88 and B/T® 92 precision pump tubing, while the second set is perfect for Masterflex® B/T® 86 and B/T® 90 high-performance precision pump tubing. The result: optimum occlusion for any type of tubing, enhanced accuracy and consistency of flow. It also allows you to maximize pressure and suction capabilities for your specific tubing size.

The Masterflex B/T tubing pumps. High-volume pumping, ease of use, and the reliability of Masterflex.

  • Rugged, heavy-duty pumps for industrial applications!
