KSB acquires valve factory in Lünen, Germany

FRANKENTHAL: Effective from 15 November 2002, KSB has acquired part of the business of former valve manufacturers Pörringer + Schindler GmbH (PSA), Zweibrücken.

The acquisition covers PSA's production facility in Lünen, which manufactures gate valves and swing check valves for industrial and power station applications.

It is KSB's declared intention to continue operating the Lünen plant and to sell valve series STAAL and BANTAM through KSB's sales organization on a global scale. The two type series extend the pump and valve manufacturer's product portfolio in the steel valves range.
