Head of Sulzer Hexis Leaves the Company

Roland Diethelm, Head of Sulzer Hexis, venture division of Sulzer Corporation, located in Winterthur, will leave the company.

Roland Diethelm (47) will leave Sulzer after 21 years of service. He led the fuel cell project after 1989 and has been appointed Head of Sulzer Hexis Ltd. in 1997. During his tenure Sulzer Hexis was instrumental in developing fuel cell technology and –applications.

Roland Diethelm has decided to leave the corporation due to differing opinions concerning the strategy and the further development of Sulzer Hexis. Sulzer regrets his decision and expresses thanks for his successful work and full dedication to Sulzer.

Change in the Executive Board of the Wilo Group

Mathias Weyers (53) has resigned from his position as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Wilo Group with effect from 30 June 2024. Weyers, who can look back on a long and successful career at Wilo, is leaving the company at his own request to pursue new professional challenges. He will be succeeded by Dr Patrick Niehr (50), who previously served on the Executive Board as Chief Change Officer (CCO).

Company Founder Ayhan Busch Celebrates Her 90th Birthday

Ayhan Busch, co-founder and co-owner of the Busch Group, was celebrating her 90th birthday on June 8. She is still active in the company, travels to manager meetings and welcomes guests, such as the Governor of the US state of Virginia recently. Just yesterday, she inaugurated the new “Central Park” on the grounds of the Busch headquarters in Maulburg, Germany.
