Griswold 811 Series Feature Enhanced Power Frames
Griswold Pump Company, a leading manufacturer of ANSI centrifugal pumps and an operating company within Dover Corporation’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG), announced that its 811 Series ANSI line of pumps are available with enhanced power frames that not only increase performance and longevity, but also simplify maintenance.

The improved strength and rigidity of the 811 Series power frames are an estimated 33-percent stronger than competitive models, making them better equipped to withstand severe conditions found in many process and transfer applications.
In addition, the large sight glasses and magnetic drain plug are designed in features that provide longer bearing life for the 811 Series. Griswold® also utilizes a “Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating” on the interior surface of the power frame to provide a superior barrier between the iron frame and oil, enhancing the long-term quality and cleanliness of the lubricating oil.
The 811 Series offers a full range of pump sizes, as well as options and upgrades that can be tailored to meet virtually any fluid-processing application with flow rates up to, and including, 908 m3/hr (4,000 gpm). Among the 811’s features are the availability of both standard and low-flow models, heavy-duty power frames, fully open impellers with rear adjustment capability, and a wide variety of mechanical-seal options. 811 Series pumps are available with ductile iron, 316 stainless steel, CD4MCu and Alloy 20 liquid paths, which make them viable in temperatures as high as 260C (500F). All 811 Series pumps undergo extensive hydro testing before being delivered to the customer.
