Eaton Announces New Vickers™ Hydraulic Power Units

31.01.2001

EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA… Eaton Hydraulics announces the introduction of two new hydraulic power units, the Vickers™ System-Pak and Value-Pak. Both units provide substantial improvements to reduce leakage and enhance overall product performance.

Key among the many features of the new power units is SAE straight thread porting throughout to help minimize leakage. Also featured are line-mounted, spin-on return filters for ease of maintenance, standard D03 bar stock manifold with built-in relief to facilitate easy field upgrades, and a continuous duty rated motor that provides 24hr/7day per week operation and long life. To help reduce vibration, the units use an elastomer motor/pump coupling. An oiled and pickled reservoir minimizes internal rust and contamination.

Vickers Value-Pak models are equipped with a low-noise Eaton Series 26 gear pump. Vickers System-Pak models are available with a choice of vane pump or piston pump. The units are cooled by air/oil or water/oil with system monitoring achieved by low level/temp or low level switches.

Standard features include oil level indicator with thermometer, pressure gauge, return line filtration, TEFC electric motor and suction strainer. Special, unique features include a range of reservoir capacities from 3-25 gallons (5-25 for Value-Pak, flows to 10 gpm (fixed displacement) and 6 gpm (variable displacement, System-Pak only), electric motors (System-Pak: ½ - 2 hp single phase, 115/208-230, 60 Hz and ½-5 three phase, 230/460V or 575V 60 Hz; Value-Pak: 1 ½-5 hp), maximum pressure to 3000 psi (2400 psi for Value-Pak).

System-Pak valve options include a manifold in 1-8 station parallel or 1-4 station series, directional valves with optional voltages and wiring connections, and optional configurations of stack valves. Optional Vickers System-Stak valves may be used with the Value-Pak.

Select models can be shipped within 5 working days upon receipt of an order. Additional product information can be found by clicking here.
