DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts appoints new European director

Effective from 1st January2014, Marcel Vandennoort is the new Regional Director for DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He succeeds Sylvie Gallou, who has joined DuPont’s global transition team for the proposed spin-off of DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts and DuPont’s Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) Coatings business.

Dutch-born Marcel began his career at DuPont in 1986, working at the company’s Dordrecht site in The Netherlands. Subsequent roles within Fluoropolymer Solutions included management positions in operations, t, technical service, sales and marketing, before taking on the role as Regional Manager Asia FPS based in Hong Kong. His most recent position was as Global Business and Market Manager, Industrial Resins FPS.

Marcel Vandennoort is 52 years old and has an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, as well as an MBA from Erasmus University/Rotterdam School of Management.
