Donelly named president – Wicor Industries

DELAVAN, WI - Jim Donnelly, president and chief executive officer of Sta-Rite Industries, has been elected president and chief executive officer of WICOR Industries, a Wisconsin Energy subsidiary, which includes Sta-Rite Industries, SHURflo and Hypro Corporation, all pump-manufacturing businesses. Donnelly will also continue his responsibilities as president of Sta-Rite.

In his new position, Donnelly will report to George Wardeberg, Wisconsin Energy vice chairman.

Donnelly has been President of Sta-Rite since 1992. Prior to that he was Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of WICOR, Inc., which was at the time Sta-Rite`s parent company. Earlier this year, he was appointed Board Chairman of the Hydraulic Institute, the North American trade association for the pump industry.

Sta-Rite is headquartered in Delavan, Wisconsin, and is a leading worldwide manufacturer of pumps and water processing equipment for the water systems, irrigation, pool and filtration markets.

SHURflo, headquartered in Santa Ana, California, manufactures pumps for the beverage, recreational vehicle, marine, industrial and water markets.

Hypro is headquartered in New Brighton, Minnesota, and manufactures agricultural, pressure-cleaning, marine, industrial, and fire-protection pumps and accessories.

WICOR is a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corporation (NYSE:WEC).

Company Founder Ayhan Busch Celebrates Her 90th Birthday

Ayhan Busch, co-founder and co-owner of the Busch Group, was celebrating her 90th birthday on June 8. She is still active in the company, travels to manager meetings and welcomes guests, such as the Governor of the US state of Virginia recently. Just yesterday, she inaugurated the new “Central Park” on the grounds of the Busch headquarters in Maulburg, Germany.
