Crane Co. Appoints Max H. Mitchell to President, Fluid Handling

Crane Co. announced the promotion of Max H. Mitchell to President, Fluid Handling. Mr. Mitchell joined Crane Co. as vice president, operational excellence in February 2004.

Prior to joining Crane Co. he was senior vice president of global operations for Pentair Tools Group since 2001. Prior to Pentair, Max was with Danaher Corporation and the Ford Motor Company.

Eric C. Fast, president and chief executive officer said, "Max has made a positive impact since joining Crane and we look forward to Max focusing his leadership on our Fluid Handling businesses."

The Company plans to conduct a search for a new vice president, operational excellence.

Mathias Weyers (53) has resigned from his position as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Wilo Group with effect from 30 June 2024. Weyers, who can look back on a long and successful career at Wilo, is leaving the company at his own request to pursue new professional challenges. He will be succeeded by Dr Patrick Niehr (50), who previously served on the Executive Board as Chief Change Officer (CCO).

Company Founder Ayhan Busch Celebrates Her 90th Birthday

Ayhan Busch, co-founder and co-owner of the Busch Group, was celebrating her 90th birthday on June 8. She is still active in the company, travels to manager meetings and welcomes guests, such as the Governor of the US state of Virginia recently. Just yesterday, she inaugurated the new “Central Park” on the grounds of the Busch headquarters in Maulburg, Germany.
