Crane Co. Acquires the Hattersley Brand

Crane Co. announces that its UK subsidiary, Crane Limited, has purchased the Hattersley valve brand and business together with certain related intellectual property, goodwill and assets from Hattersley Newman Hender, Ltd., a subsidiary of Tomkins plc.

Hattersley branded products include an array of valves for commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects. The business will be integrated into Crane Limited, a leading provider of pipe fittings, valves and related products to the building services and industrial markets in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
